Apply generously to dry hair, parting the strands so as to reach the roots. Massage into the scalp and hair until thoroughly soaked in the lotion. Pay special attention to the roots and to the areas around the back of the neck and above the ears.
Leave for about 45 minutes. Wash your hair with your regular shampoo then apply a conditioner to make it easier to remove dead lice and nits using a nit comb.
Repeat the next day, and then one week and ten days after the first application. You are advised to repeat the process again on the 20th day.
If the lotion comes into contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water.

Advice: to stay clear with another contamination, you are advised to check the hair of all the family members. You should also wash at 60° the sheets, clothes and any other items that might have been in touch with the lice. Or you can lock them up for a week in an impermeable bag.

Melvita tip:
Apply some drops of lavender essential oil behind your ears to prevent from a lice contamination.
